The UN Office for Disaster Risk Resilience (UNDRR) and the International Recovery Platform (IRP) released their new Recovery Readiness Framework and Assessment Tool.
The tool aims to “to support countries in identifying gaps and prioritizing improvements before disasters strike,” and assess readiness across four domains—Governance, Finance, Capacity, and Data and Knowledge—which are then further broken down.
Though aimed at national governments, it’s also a great resource for international agencies and support operations that need to align with country-led efforts.
