The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) unveils their Handbook for Cyber Stress Testing.
Digwatch breaks down ENISA’s new handbook and its five main steps for organizing cyber stress tests: defining scope and objectives, designing the test, executing the test, conducting a gap analysis, and concluding and follow-up.
Meant to be a resource that compliments new regulatory frameworks such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), the handbook provides a useful template for what some countries are doing to strengthen risk-informed cybersecurity oversight and encourage consistency.
