The Business Continuity Institute (BCI) published its 2025 Continuity and Resilience Report. The goal of the annual report is to track “shifts in the profession and the current state of practice.”
Key findings from this year’s report include a much higher percentage of organizations recognizing business continuity and resilience as two separate functions, and a shift towards flexible, effect-based preparedness over cause-based preparedness.
Overall, the 2025 report highlights a shift in how the industry is approaching business continuity and preparedness, one that goes beyond compliance documents and focuses on real capabilities.
